I have had my fair share of gadgets and gizmo's in my time, but the best I have ever owned, and will stay loyal to for a long long time is Apple Gear.
It is well made, polished and sturdy at the same time being elegant. Sure its a bit more expensive than most items on the market, but its not cheap plastic and made with mass market, budget parts.
Steve Jobs, made a point of asking for the best, and making sure all his products were identical, no cost cutting just to make a quick buck. His name was synonymous with quality, as are his products.
I never ever thought I would use an apple product, but when the iphone first hit the marketplace I bought one, I loved it, so I proceeded to upgrade each time one came out, I have loved them all.
I have always had a thing for PC's and laptops, and have churned my way through getting one that met my needs entirely, to the point where I spent the cash and built my own, its only let down, the operating system...Microsoft Windows oof any version is a good system, but i never ever went 6 months without a reformat, or restore, so I took the plunge 2 years ago after nearly 30 years on PC's for a Mac.
My first experience with it was, what was all the fuss about, this is easier than any PC I have ever used, and so 2+ years on, I still have it, same configuration, same ease of use, and never ever had a single problem with it. Its amazing that I have never been bothered with viruses, or crashes, its so impeccably engineered and the software so easy to use, a child could use it.
Apple are always striving to make the best and most innovative products on the market, and I think they do (my thoughts), even when I had the iPad when it first came out, I was blown away, iPad2, gobsmacked, the sheer genius of the thing and now everyone is playing catchup, once again, I bought a macbook air for a bit more flexability when on the move and its an absolute joy to use, hardly anything comes near it in the laptop stakes, unless you count the macbook pro. All the other "thin" laptops are a mere shadow of the Air.
So thats my travels through the Apple family, I converted my partner to an iPhone at Christmas, she said she would never own one, but after a few hours, she loved it, and will never go back to her previous type phone. So I am now trying to get her onto a Macbook Pro ... that way we rid the house of the PC, and have a safe house for surfing.
